Grateful warrior journey

From the moment she was born, our journey as a family changed forever.
Our little girl was diagnosed with hip dysplasia in both hips, and the months that followed became one of the hardest seasons of my life.

Four pediatric specialists.
A brace for 3 months.
Monthly ultrasounds.
Three surgeries.
A hip cast for almost 5 months.

On a brace 24/7 for 3 months. In between, she caught a flu infection in infant care that required her to nebulise every 4 hours.

There were days I felt completely overwhelmed and lost in the weight of it all. Watching your baby go through so much is something no parent can truly prepare for. She pushed every single one of us to the edge… and somehow, she carried us through it with her quiet strength.

Finally got her cast removed; the procedure is really traumatic when the cast is being sawed open! Thankfully, it is done and over.

Now, she is 4 years old.
Running. Walking. Playing. Living a beautifully normal childhood.

Beautiful photo of her posing at Anantara lobby reception.

I find myself standing in deep gratitude for the simple things we once prayed for. Every step she takes feels like a miracle. Every run across the playground feels like a celebration.

This little warrior. Our daily reminder that resilience lives in the smallest bodies and that gratitude grows strongest after the storm.
